This report is the second of a series aiming to provide an oceanographic knowledge baseline of the Coast of Bays (i.e., data and analyses) to help manage and ensure the sustainable growth of the aquaculture industry. This report presents the analysis of 790 water profiles of temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen concentration sampled at 276 stations over the course of a 5-year oceanographic program (2009 13). The profiles were analyzed using along-channel vertical sections plots (i.e., transects), surface property maps and water masses statistics.\n\ncdm_data_type = TimeSeries\nVARIABLES:\nCruise\nEvent\nStation\nType\ntime (Deploy Time(ISO8601), seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nBotDepth_m (Bot Depth(m), m)\nInstrument\ntime_ISO8601\nPressure_dbar (Pressure(dbar), dbar)\nTemperature_oC (Temperature(o C), degree_Celsius)\nConductivity_S_m (Sea Water Electrical Conductivity, S m-1)\nOxygen_V (Oxygen(V), V)\nDepth_m (Depth, m)\nSalinity (Sea Water Practical Salinity, PSU)\nOxygen_mL_L (Oxygen(m L/L), mL L-1)\nOxygen_mg_L (Oxygen(mg/L), mg L-1)\nOxygen (Oxygen(%), percent)\nDescentRate_m_s (Descent Rate(m/s), m s-1)\n | https://cioosatlantic.ca/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/coast-of-bays-hydrographic-2009-2013_fgdc.xml | https://cioosatlantic.ca/erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/coast-of-bays-hydrographic-2009-2013_iso19115.xml | https://cioosatlantic.ca/erddap/info/coast-of-bays-hydrographic-2009-2013/index.htmlTable | https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/a650f132-7502-402f-a42e-7ba4dea3f829

Samples were evaluated natively through filtration and rigorous ex-situ analytical precision techniques, eliminating the requirement for instrument calibration logs.\n\ncdm_data_type = TimeSeries\nVARIABLES:\ntime (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\ncruise (Cruise identifier)\nregion (Name of the sampling area or region)\nplatform_id (Station identifier)\nlatitude (Latitude in decimal degrees (north positive), degrees_north)\nlongitude (Longitude in decimal degrees (west negative), degrees_east)\ndepth (Numeric depth in meters, m)\ndepth_id (Categorical depth level)\nfraction (Particle fraction)\nbloom_export_stage\nmole_concentration_of_particulate_organic_carbon_in_fraction (Measurement value for POC, MMol' 'M-3)\nstandard_deviation_for_mole_concentration_of_particulate_organic_carbon_in_fraction (Standard deviation for POC, MMol' 'M-3)\nmole_concentration_of_particulate_organic_nitrogen_in_fraction (Measurement value for PON, MMol' 'M-3)\nstandard_deviation_for_mole_concentration_of_particulate_organic_nitrogen_in_fraction (Standard deviation for PON, MMol' 'M-3)\nmoles_of_particulate_biogenic_silica_per_unit_volume_in_fraction (Measurement value for BSi, MMol' 'M-3)\nmass_concentration_of_transparent_exopolymer_particle_in_fraction (Measurement value for TEP, mg XG eq m-3)\nstandard_deviation_for_mass_concentration_of_transparent_exopolymer_particle_in_fraction (Standard deviation for TEP, mg XG eq m-3)\nmass_concentration_of_coomassie_stainable_particles_in_fraction (Measurement value for CSP, mg BSA eq m-3)\nstandard_deviation_for_mass_concentration_of_coomassie_stainable_particles_in_fraction (Standard deviation for CSP, mg BSA eq m-3)\nmoles_of_particulate_inorganic_carbon_per_unit_volume_in_fraction_mmolm_3 (Measurement value for PIC, MMol' 'M-3)\nmole_concentration_of_particulate_hydrolyzable_amino_acids_in_fraction (Measurement value for Particulate Hydrolyzable Amino Acids, MMol' 'M-3)\nlatitude_qartod_gross_range_test (Gross Range Test Quality Flag, degrees_north)\nlongitude_qartod_gross_range_test (Gross Range Test Quality Flag, degrees_east)\n...
