Buoy was lifted by the CCGS George R Pearkes. 2019-06-14: Burn-In Process Started - Start of Burnin for 2019 Season - no sensors changed. Only Camera 2 was removed 2019-07-02: New Temp/RH Sensor installed - New Temp/RH Sensor installed before deployment. 2019-07-04: Buoy Deployed - Buoy deployed for the 2019 Season. Reporting well all sensors intact. Camera reporting but script needs to be updated in order to display on site. 2020-08-10: Sampling Schema - Sampling Schema reprogrammed to every 30 minutes. 2020-09-28: Buoy Service Trip - Service trip, replaced cell antenna, previous one damaged. Replaced MP101A-T7 Temp/RH sensor 2022-03-04: Buoy Recovered and at CTec Yard - Buoy has been recovered and is currently in the CTec yard. This is because of the impending ice pack coming down the north east coast of Newfoundland... Buoy will likely be redeployed in May 2022 2022-05-02: Buoy maintenance - ongoing - Buoy has undergone maintenance since being recovered. All anodes replaced. Wind generator has been replaced. Wind 1 sensor has been repaired. Camera have been removed due to water ingress. Cell modem has been reprogrammed to accept remote access again. Mooring(synthetic section) has been checked and recertified. Buoy undergoing burn in before redeployment. 2022-06-01: Housing changed - Housing changed to use pole housing from Serial No. 14080059 that stopped working. 2022-06-08: Burn in complete - ready for deployment - Buoy burnin complete all anodes checked and/or replaced. New mooring diagram updated to reflect all hammer locks replaced with 1.5" SPS.

attribute	NC_GLOBAL	summary	String	A 3 metre diameter meteorological/oceanographic buoy built by AXYS Environmental Technologies of Sidney, British Columbia. The buoy is located in St. John's Bay just north of Cape Spear at the approaches to St. John's Harbour in about 160 m. water depth. The buoy's purpose is to monitor and transmit in near real time meteorological and oceanographic data in support of operational efficiency, safety and situational awareness for marine transportation. The buoy also provides a continuous data feed in support of the Science and R&D community.The buoy is capable of measuring a variety of atmospheric and surface conditions including: wind speed and direction, air temperature, humidity, dew point, barometric pressure, water temperature, current speed and direction (0.5 m. depth), wave height, direction and period as well as wave spectral information. The buoy is also equipped with an Aids to Navigation Information System (ATONiS) allowing direct transmittal of the buoy data to a ship's bridge.
